MB-YogaYoga and I became friends over 10 years ago, when I was in a period of change and needed something to help me stay grounded.  Time went on, life events unfolded, and our friendship grew stronger, even through those days (weeks, years) when my practice did not necessarily grow stronger.  Yoga and meditation have been by my side through moves, job changes, stressful life changes, pregnancy, motherhood, and all the ups and downs in between.

As a teacher, I love to share yoga with anyone who is navigating their own life changes and is looking for some steady ground, inspiration or a clear focus.  I’m available to teach private lessons, group classes, or even to just meet with you over a cup of coffee to give you more information on how yoga may fit into your lifestyle.

Whether in private lessons or group settings, my instruction is tailored to the students in the room and all of the aches, tight muscles, and worries that accompany them onto the mat.  If you have something that you’d like to include (or exclude) in class, I can usually accommodate it!

I received my 500-hour certification and additional prenatal yoga training from ISHTA Yoga in NYC, and I’m extremely grateful for my teachers, especially Alan & Sarah Finger.  If you’d like to learn more about ISHTA Yoga (which stands for the Integrated Science of Hatha, Tantra, and Ayurveda), I’d probably stop whatever I’m doing at any given moment to talk to you about the lineage and what sets it apart from other styles of yoga.

I teach yoga for new moms (4:00 – 5:00 p.m.) and prenatal yoga (5:30 – 6:30 p.m.) at Jillian’s Drawers on Monday evenings.  I’d love to have you stop by, even if you aren’t pregnant!  Please contact me if you have any questions or are interested in setting up private lessons.
